Why is follow-up so important?
After routine endodontic or surgical endodontic therapy, you should return at the recommended interval of six months if no symptoms occur.
If you have continued discomfort, pain or swelling, you should contact us immediately.
At the six-month follow-up appointment, we must make sure that the root canal is intact. It is important to assure that there is no on-going infectious process which would endanger the success of the procedure.
